Farhan Ahmed, at just 16 years old, has made history by breaking a 159-year-old cricket record. He achieved this feat while playing county cricket for Nottinghamshire against Surrey. Farhan took a total of 10 wickets in the match—7 in the first innings and 3 in the second.

Farhan Ahmed is now the youngest bowler to take 10 wickets in a first-class match. He surpassed the previous record held by WG Grace, who set the record in 1865 at the age of 16 years and 340 days. Farhan broke this record at 16 years and 191 days old. He also became the youngest bowler to take a five-wicket haul.

So far, Farhan has played 2 first-class matches and 1 List A game. In these matches, he has taken 13 wickets in first-class cricket and 1 wicket in List A. Farhan has also played for England in the Under-19 World Cup.
