Rajasthan Assembly Bypolls News: Bypolls are set to be held for seven assembly seats in Rajasthan. To defeat Congress in these elections, BJP leaders are actively discussing the potential candidates for the party. Two meetings have already been held under the leadership of Rajasthan BJP President Madan Rathod, and there was also a BJP core committee meeting regarding this matter. The same day, discussions were held in Delhi as well about the possible candidates.

From the BJP meetings, it is clear that the party is not in a hurry to decide on candidates. They are carefully considering caste equations in the state to strengthen their chances of winning.

Kirodi Lal Meena’s Influence is Strong

In Dausa, Kirodi Lal Meena has significant influence. Therefore, BJP might give the ticket to Kirodi Lal Meena’s brother, Jagmohan Meena. There are other contenders as well, including some veteran leaders who want to run from this seat. However, BJP cannot ignore Kirodi Lal Meena, as his influence extends to areas like Deoli-Uniara, Chaurasi, and Salumber. The party is considering giving a ticket to Vijay Bainsla, son of Colonel Kirodi Bainsla, for Deoli-Uniara, which would also have an impact on Dausa and Khimsar.

In eastern Rajasthan, BJP is focusing on gaining support from Meena and Gurjar voters.

    Signals from Jhunjhunu and Khimsar

BJP is planning to field Jat candidates in Jhunjhunu and Khimsar. Last time, BJP narrowly lost in Khimsar, so there are no major changes expected. In Jhunjhunu, BJP is also planning to stick with a Jat candidate, and no significant changes are being discussed. On the Chaurasi seat, BJP might give a chance to an experienced leader, but for Salumber and Ramgarh, the situation is still unclear.
