At first, he made headlines because of doubts about his age, but now he is making news for his explosive batting. When Rajasthan Royals bought him in the IPL, his age was mentioned as 13 years, and he made his debut at just 14 years old. Even though Vaibhav’s family had already shown his birth certificate to clear the doubts, discussions about his age still continue. Recently, Delhi Premier League-winning captain Nitish Rana gave a cheeky comment during an interview.

When asked about Vaibhav, Rana laughed and said:
“Is he really 14 or not?”
Later, he added that it was just a joke.
