Getting a driving license, marriage certificate, or other government documents may soon become easier. You won’t have to visit government offices or stand in long queues anymore. The Delhi government is working on a new project called “WhatsApp Governance”, which will allow people to apply for many services directly through WhatsApp.

With this service, people will be able to:
- Apply for a Marriage Certificate
- Get a Caste Certificate
- Request a Birth Certificate
- Apply for a Driving License
- And many other government documents
The system will also allow users to verify and download documents online. This will save time, reduce visits to offices, and also help in controlling corruption.
⚙️ How the Service Will Work
- The platform will use an AI-powered chatbot available in both Hindi and English.
- The chatbot will guide users, automate services, and provide information from different departments.
- At the start, 25–30 government services will be included, and more will be added later.
- It will be linked with Delhi’s e-District portal for smooth coordination.
📲 How to Use It
- Once launched, users will simply send “Hi” to the WhatsApp chatbot.
- The chatbot will share an application form.
- Users need to fill in the form, attach required documents, and upload it.
- The whole process will be quick and user-friendly.
