Bahraich: Villagers Troubled by Man-Eating Wolves, 5 Children Have Already Been Victimized

In Bahraich’s Mahsi area, Uttar Pradesh, villagers have been living in fear due to a man-eating animal for the past month and a half. This mysterious animal has already claimed the lives of 5 young children. Although the forest department has managed to catch 3 wolves, the attacks are still ongoing. The district administration and local officials are deeply troubled and concerned about these continuous attacks in the Hardi region.

Local MLA Takes Action

Local BJP MLA Sureshwar Singh has accused the police administration of negligence and is demanding a prompt investigation into the matter. To protect the children, MLA Singh has been staying awake with villagers throughout the night. He is determined to ensure the safety of the community, as fear grips the area and forces residents to stay indoors after dark.

Efforts to Capture the Animal

The forest department and officials from the Lucknow zoo have been working hard to capture this man-eating wolf, but they have yet to succeed. The authorities are also worried and anxious about the situation.

Call for Vigilance

MLA Sureshwar Singh has urged the villagers to stay vigilant, saying, “To save your family, stay awake.” He also emphasized the need for government intervention to investigate whether there might be someone else involved in these attacks, given the recent discovery of a child’s body with limbs severed. The MLA is pushing for an urgent resolution to this crisis.
