The investigating agency has received a major piece of information regarding the bomb blast near the Red Fort in Delhi. According to police sources, the i20 car in which the explosion occurred was being driven by a person named Umar. Umar was visible in the CCTV footage from the parking area. Sources indicate that after the Faridabad module came to light, Umar knew that agencies were searching for him, which is why he was attempting to evade capture.

The Delhi Police Special Cell, NIA, and FSL team are currently investigating the case. Forensic evidence and explosive residue have been collected from the blast site.
