The investigating agency has received a major piece of information regarding the bomb blast near the Red Fort in Delhi. According to police sources, the i20 car in which the explosion occurred was being driven by a person named Umar. Umar was visible in the CCTV footage from the parking area. Sources indicate that after the Faridabad module came to light, Umar knew that agencies were searching for him, which is why he was attempting to evade capture.
The investigating agency reported that the car driven by Umar Mohammad remained in the parking area near the Red Fort for about 3 hours and then left after that time. “Did he meet anyone here?” The agency is seeking answers to many such questions. The Delhi Police Special Cell, NIA, and FSL team are currently investigating the case. Forensic evidence and explosive residue have been collected from the blast site. Security agencies are now attempting to trace Umar’s location.

According to a PTI report, the explosion that took place near the Red Fort in Delhi on Monday evening (November 10, 2025) is believed to be linked to the Faridabad suspected terrorist module. The blast claimed the lives of 12 people. Police reported on Tuesday that a team is currently stationed at Al Falah University, where a Kashmiri doctor had been residing for the past three and a half years. University staff and doctors are also being questioned. According to a senior police official, multiple police personnel are conducting search operations in the Dhoj police station area.
Terrorists Connected to Jaish-e-Mohammad and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind
The investigation has revealed that a cleric detained there stated he had rented his room to an auto-rickshaw driver, who subsequently gave the room to Dr. Muzammil for storing luggage. According to official sources, eight people, including Muzammil and two other doctors, have been arrested on charges of being involved in a white-collar terrorist module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammad and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind.
