JBL has expanded its wireless audio lineup in India with the launch of the new JBL Live 780NC and JBL Live 680NC headphones. The latest models are aimed at users seeking premium sound quality, advanced noise cancellation, and extended battery life without entering the ultra-premium price segment.
The company has priced the JBL Live 780NC at Rs 15,999, while the JBL Live 680NC is available at Rs 11,999. Both headphones arrive with a range of modern features, including adaptive ANC, spatial audio support, and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity.
Premium Audio Experience With Adaptive ANC
The JBL Live 780NC and Live 680NC are powered by 40mm dynamic drivers designed to deliver rich sound output across different genres of music. A major highlight is the inclusion of True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0, which automatically adjusts noise reduction levels based on the surrounding environment.
For clearer conversations during calls, JBL has integrated AI-enhanced microphone technology. The higher-end Live 780NC comes equipped with six microphones, while the Live 680NC features a four-microphone setup for voice pickup and noise suppression.
Up to 80 Hours of Playback
Battery life remains one of the strongest selling points of the new headphones. JBL claims users can enjoy up to 80 hours of listening time on a single charge when noise cancellation is disabled.
With ANC activated, the battery backup is rated at up to 50 hours. The headphones also support fast charging, with a quick five-minute charge delivering up to four hours of playback time.
Advanced Connectivity and Smart Features
Apart from ANC, both models offer several premium features such as JBL Spatial Sound, Personi-Fi 3.0 audio customization, LDAC support for high-resolution wireless streaming, multipoint connectivity, and Auracast compatibility.
The headphones also support Bluetooth 6.0, allowing users to switch seamlessly between multiple connected devices.
Design, Comfort and Colour Choices
JBL has opted for a foldable design that improves portability while maintaining comfort for long listening sessions. The headphones feature soft ear cushions and metallic design accents for a premium appearance.
The JBL Live 780NC is an over-ear model weighing 260 grams, whereas the JBL Live 680NC adopts an on-ear design with a weight of 231 grams.
Both headphones are available in seven colour variants, including Black, White, Blue, Champagne, Green, Orange, and Purple.

The JBL Live 780NC is currently available for pre-booking through Amazon and JBL India. Customers purchasing during the launch period can avail a Rs 2,000 discount and receive a complimentary one-year extended warranty.
The headphone will officially go on sale during the Amazon Prime Day event scheduled from June 23 to June 26.
Meanwhile, the JBL Live 680NC has already reached the market and can be purchased through JBL’s official website, Amazon, and select retail stores across the country.
