Xiaomi New Magnetic Power Banks Coming to India on September 8: 5,000mAh and 10,000mAh Models Explained

Xiaomi is preparing to launch two new power banks in India, giving users more options for on-the-go charging. The company has confirmed that the Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W and Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W will arrive in the Indian market on September 8.

While the UltraThin model is designed for portability and wireless charging, the larger 10,000mAh variant focuses on higher battery capacity and faster charging.

Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank India Launch Date

Xiaomi has confirmed that both power banks will make their India debut on September 8, 2026. However, the company has not announced the Indian prices or confirmed the exact sale date yet.

The launch was announced through Xiaomi’s social media channels, with the teaser showing a design similar to the versions already available in China and selected international markets.

The UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W is not an entirely new product globally. It was introduced in February and is already available in some markets.

Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W Features

The UltraThin model is aimed at smartphone users who want a portable charging solution without carrying a bulky power bank.

It packs a 5,000mAh battery with a silicon-carbon battery design. Xiaomi lists its typical capacity at 5,000mAh, while the rated capacity is 3,000mAh at 5V.

The biggest highlight is its slim body. The power bank measures 98.5 x 71.5 x 6mm and weighs approximately 98 grams.

For compatible devices, it can deliver up to 15W through magnetic wireless charging. iPhone users, however, are limited to wireless charging speeds of up to 7.5W.

There is also a USB Type-C port capable of delivering up to 22.5W wired charging.

Can It Charge Two Devices at Once?

Yes. Xiaomi says the UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank can charge two devices simultaneously by using its wireless and wired charging outputs.

This could be useful for users who want to charge a smartphone wirelessly while connecting another device to the USB Type-C port.

Built-In Safety Features

The compact power bank also includes hardware designed to control temperature and improve charging safety.

Xiaomi has equipped it with a 4,369-square-millimetre graphite heat-dissipation sheet and a dual NTC temperature monitoring system.

The accessory also includes protection against several common charging-related risks, including overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuits, overcharging and foreign objects.

Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W

Alongside the slim 5,000mAh model, Xiaomi will introduce a 10,000mAh magnetic power bank in India.

The Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W is confirmed to support up to 45W charging, making it the more powerful option of the two.

At present, Xiaomi has not revealed the complete specifications of this model. Details such as its wireless charging speed, dimensions, weight, colour options and other features are still awaited.

Xiaomi Power Bank Price in India

Xiaomi has yet to announce the India prices of the two new magnetic power banks. The company is also yet to confirm their exact availability details.

More information is likely to be announced around the September 8 launch.

For buyers, the two models appear to target different requirements. The 5,000mAh UltraThin model is focused on portability and magnetic wireless charging, while the 10,000mAh model with 45W charging should appeal to users who prioritise battery capacity and faster charging.
