As Jharkhand prepares for its assembly elections later this year, the BJP is reaching out to the public for input on its election manifesto. On Thursday (August 29), the party announced that it will create its manifesto based on suggestions from ordinary people.

    Party’s Approach:
BJP’s Jharkhand President Babulal Marandi stated that the party will prepare its “Sankalp Patra” (manifesto) after consulting with the public. The aim is to align the manifesto with the aspirations and expectations of the people.

    Consultations:
Marandi mentioned that the party will consult with industry representatives, doctors, students, and other societal groups. The party will also seek input from grassroots BJP workers to ensure the manifesto reflects the needs of the people.

    Criticism of Opponents:
Marandi criticized other political parties for making false promises and failing to deliver on them. He also shared that people can send their suggestions for the manifesto via WhatsApp at 6202750671.

    Engagement with the Public:
Anant Ojha, convenor of the BJP’s manifesto committee, added that the party’s MPs, MLAs, and officials will visit various regions and engage with people from different sectors—youth, women, farmers, government employees, workers, traders, and students—to discuss their issues and demands.

The dates for the Jharkhand assembly elections have not yet been announced.
