Mumbai Airport Security Breach: Fire Breaks Out in Illegally Transported Chemical

A major security breach occurred at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport when a fire broke out in a chemical being illegally transported. The chemical, hydrogen spirit, was being loaded onto flight ET-641 for Addis Ababa when the fire started.

The incident happened during the loading of the chemical onto the plane. Fortunately, no one was harmed in the fire. The Sahar Police have arrested five people in connection with the incident. Forensic analysis revealed that the chemical in question was hydrogen spirit.

Security Lapse at Mumbai Airport

The illegal transportation of hydrogen spirit was uncovered before the flight departed. This chemical is extremely dangerous, as demonstrated by the fire that broke out during loading.

A Major Accident Averted

If the fire had occurred after the plane had taken off, it could have resulted in a serious accident and potentially harmed the people on board. Thankfully, no injuries were reported from this incident.
