The competition is heating up on Rise & Fall Season 2 as Shehzad Poonawalla becomes the first contestant to qualify for the grand finale. However, his decision to protect Gautam Gulati instead of Swara Bhasker leads to fresh tension among the housemates.
The journey towards the finale of Rise & Fall Season 2 has entered an exciting stage. In the latest episode, Shehzad Poonawalla managed to secure his position in the final after delivering a strong performance in the Ticket to Finale challenge.
His victory did not just give him a direct entry into the finale but also brought back the Ultimate Ruler title. However, another decision taken by him shortly after the task became a talking point among the contestants.
Shehzad and Rishabh Win the Crucial Task
The Ticket to Finale challenge featured two teams competing against each other. One team included Karan Patel and Jashwanth Bopanna, while the other consisted of Shehzad Poonawalla and Rishabh Jaiswal.
The task required both pairs to repair a circuit board against the clock. It was a test of coordination, teamwork and quick thinking.
Karan and Jashwanth managed to complete the challenge in 35 minutes and 38 seconds. Shehzad and Rishabh, however, finished the same task in just 23 minutes and 46 seconds.
Their faster performance secured the win, making Shehzad the first confirmed finalist of the season. He also regained the Ultimate Ruler title for the second time, adding another achievement to his journey on the show.
Gautam Gulati Gets Priority Over Swara Bhasker
The episode took another interesting turn when the Rulers were called into the Red Room for the Fall Ka Farmaaan round.
Shehzad was given an important choice: he had to save one contestant from the upcoming fall. The decision involved Gautam Gulati, Swara Bhasker and Karan Patel.
After considering his options, Shehzad decided to save Gautam.
He explained that he had previously made a decision to save Irina Rudakova, which eventually resulted in Gautam being sent to the Basement. He did not want to make the same mistake again and therefore chose to protect Gautam this time.
His decision, however, did not go down well with Swara, leading to a disagreement between the two contestants.
Gautam Ranks Swara, Karan and Other Contestants
After being saved, Gautam was asked to rank the remaining Rulers according to their opinions, decisions and strength in the competition.
He placed Swara Bhasker at the top of his list, with Karan Patel taking the second position. Sonam Malik was ranked third, while Manish Kashyap received the last position.
The ranking brought another layer of competition into the episode, showing how contestants are judging each other’s contribution and gameplay as the finale approaches.
What Lies Ahead in Rise & Fall Season 2?
Shehzad’s qualification has made the race to the finale even more interesting. With one finalist already confirmed, the other contestants will now have to work harder to secure their positions.
At the same time, his decision to save Gautam instead of Swara could affect relationships and strategies inside the Tower. As the competition becomes tougher, individual decisions may play an important role in determining who makes it to the final stage.
