An Air India passenger plane crashed in Ahmedabad on Thursday afternoon. The plane was a Boeing Dreamliner 787 and had 242 people on board. It was flying from Ahmedabad to London, but it crashed shortly after takeoff.
Crash Happened Near the Airport
The crash took place near Meghaninagar, close to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. According to early reports, the plane may have hit a wall or a nearby building just after taking off. This caused a big fire, and the plane broke into pieces.
