This particular Apple-1 computer had an interesting story. It was owned by Dana Redington, Apple’s first application engineer. Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak gave her the computer in 1978. It was recently auctioned, and the final bid reached $315,914 (about ₹2.5 crores).

Features of the Apple-1

The Apple-1 computer was sold in fully working condition and included all the necessary components and accessories. The computer’s board was ‘undiscovered,’ meaning it had never been shown in the Apple collecting community before. It is now listed as #104 in the Apple-1 registry.

Other Rare Items Auctioned

The auction also featured other rare items, including an Apple Lisa-1 computer, a check signed by Steve Jobs, and three Polaroid pictures of the Apple-1 prototype. All these items combined sold for $983,096, which is over ₹8.25 crores.
