During the Lok Sabha elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made a statement about sending money through a scheme called “Khatakhat.” Now, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has targeted Rahul Gandhi and the Congress, saying that there is no trace of this scheme anymore.
On Tuesday, CM Yogi Adityanath criticized the scheme without naming Congress directly. He mentioned that during the April-May period of the elections, people heard about the “Khatakhat scheme,” where they were promised bonds worth one lakh rupees and a monthly payment of 8500 rupees. According to Yogi, there is no trace of those behind the scheme now.
Rahul Gandhi had promised that each poor family would receive one lakh rupees in their account until they were lifted above the poverty line, claiming that this money would quickly eliminate poverty in India.
At a recent event, CM Yogi Adityanath addressed new recruits and stated that getting a government job in Uttar Pradesh is now possible without any recommendations or transactions. He emphasized that his government has been following reservation rules and distributing appointment letters transparently over the past seven and a half years.
Yogi Adityanath warned that anyone who plays with the future of the youth in Uttar Pradesh will face severe punishment. He also criticized those spreading rumors to mislead young people who are job seekers.
