Delhi Election 2025: PM Modi and Amit Shah Urge Citizens to Vote

The Delhi Assembly Election 2025 is being held today, February 5. Voting began at 7 AM and will continue until 6 PM across all polling stations. The BJP, Congress, and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have campaigned extensively for this crucial election.

PM Modi’s Special Message

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a message on social media, encouraging Delhiites to participate actively in the election. He wrote, “Voting for all seats in the Delhi Assembly Election is being held today. I urge voters to take part in this festival of democracy with enthusiasm and cast their precious votes. My best wishes to the first-time voters. Remember—vote first, then have breakfast!”

Amit Shah’s Appeal to Voters

Home Minister Amit Shah also urged people to vote thoughtfully. He said, “I appeal to my brothers and sisters in Delhi to vote against false promises, polluted Yamuna, liquor shops, broken roads, and dirty water. Come forward and vote for a government with a strong record of public welfare and a clear vision for Delhi’s development. Your vote can make Delhi the world’s most developed capital. Vote first, then have breakfast!”

Appeals from Other Leaders

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami requested Delhi residents to vote in large numbers. He said, “I urge everyone in Delhi to come out and vote to help eliminate corruption.”

Congress candidate Sandeep Dikshit from the New Delhi constituency also emphasized the importance of voting. “Every election is important. I am going to cast my vote now. I hope everyone comes out and votes,” he said.
