NEW DELHI: King Charles III learned a unique handshake from a member of the West Indies cricket team during a meeting at Buckingham Palace over the weekend.
As head of the Commonwealth, Charles hosted the players ahead of their first Test match against England at Lord’s. While he shared warm moments with the team, he also expressed his care and concern for those affected by Hurricane Beryl in the Caribbean, sending his and his family’s “heartfelt condolences” to the region following the storm’s death and destruction.
However, what caught the internet’s attention was the unique handshake style between King Charles III and the West Indies player Jeremiah Louis, which has since left social media in splits.

England are scheduled to host the West Indies for a three-match Test series starting July 10th. The opening match will take place at the prestigious Lord’s Cricket Ground and will mark the retirement Test for James Anderson.
