The cold wave continues to grip Himachal Pradesh, with temperatures dropping drastically. In Keylong, the minimum temperature fell to -12.2°C at night. On Wednesday, February 5, higher regions of the state experienced snowfall. Light snow was recorded in Gondla, Keylong, Kalpa, and Kothi. Rainfall was reported in Manali, Dalhousie, Bharmour, Banjar, Pandoh, and Bhuntar.
Thick Fog Warning
Kuldeep Srivastava, Director of the Meteorological Center in Shimla, said that many areas in the state recorded cold wave conditions. People in Chamba and Una were particularly affected. Cold day conditions were observed in Manali and Chamba. There is a warning for dense fog in low-lying areas on February 7.
Drivers are advised to be cautious due to reduced visibility. According to the weather forecast, the skies will likely remain clear from February 8 to February 12.
