Open Day on September 6
As part of the exercise, the coordination between Greece’s F-16 fighter jets and India’s Rafale was particularly exciting. An Open Day is scheduled for September 6, where the Indian and foreign aircraft will perform, including a special show by the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team.
International Participation
The second phase of the multinational aerial exercise, Tarang Shakti, began on August 29 in Jodhpur and will continue until September 14. Participating nations include the USA, Australia, Greece, Japan, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and the UAE, all showcasing their advanced fighter planes and specialized technologies.
Showcasing Modern Aircraft
During the exercise, the UAE’s GlobalEye surveillance aircraft impressed with its radar and monitoring capabilities. The IAF also displayed its modern fleet, including Rafale, Sukhoi, Mirage, Jaguar, and Tejas aircraft. Additionally, the USA’s A-10 Thunderbolt, Greece’s F-16 Fighting Falcon, Australia’s F/A-18 Hornet, and Japan’s Mitsubishi F-2 participated in air-to-air and air-to-ground operations, demonstrating their versatile capabilities.
