Gujarat Rain Update: Meghraja has been raining heavily in North Gujarat for the last two days. Heavy rains have been falling in Patan since early morning today (July 30th) amid Met department forecast. People had to suffer due to which low-lying areas became flooded. In Lakhni of Banaskantha, markets were flooded due to torrential rains.
3 inches of rain fell in Patan
Rain was recorded in 95 talukas in the state today (July 30) from 6 am to 10 am. In which the highest rainfall was recorded in Siddhapur taluka of Patan district with more than three and a half inches of rain. 3.6 inches in Saraswati, 3 inches in Patan, 2 inches in Lakhni, 2 inches in Khambhalia, 1.6 inches in Satnalpur, 1.5 inches in Kheda, 1.5 inches in Bhachau, 1.4 inches in Mandvi (Kutch), 1.1 inches in Bahucharaji and 1.1 inches in Umargam.

According to weather department forecast, today (30th July) Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, Mahisagar, Vadodara, Chota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari , Surendranagar, Rajkot, Junagadh, Amreli, Dwarka, Gir Somnath botad has been declared orange alert for heavy to very heavy rain.
