Mohanlal Drishyam 3 Enters ₹200 Crore Club Worldwide, Maintains Strong Momentum at Box Office

Crime Thriller Continues to Draw Audiences Despite Expected Weekend Slowdown

Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. The highly anticipated Malayalam thriller has crossed the ₹200-crore mark globally and continues to attract moviegoers across India and overseas markets.

While the film experienced a dip in collections on its ninth day in theatres, its overall performance remains impressive. Trade estimates suggest that Drishyam 3 collected around ₹4.30 crore nett in India on Day 9, lower than the previous day’s earnings but still strong enough to keep the film on a successful trajectory.

Kerala Remains the Film’s Biggest Market

The Malayalam version once again dominated ticket sales, contributing the majority of the day’s revenue. The film enjoyed solid occupancy levels across Kerala, reflecting its strong connection with local audiences.

Other language versions also added to the total earnings, although their contributions remained relatively modest. The Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada dubbed versions collectively contributed additional revenue, helping expand the film’s reach beyond its core market.

Following its latest box office performance, Drishyam 3 has surpassed ₹100 crore in gross collections within India, further cementing its status as one of the year’s biggest Malayalam blockbusters.

Overseas Markets Continue to Deliver

International audiences have also played a major role in the film’s success. The thriller continues to perform exceptionally well in key overseas territories, where Mohanlal enjoys a loyal fan base.

With overseas collections now crossing ₹109 crore gross, the film’s worldwide earnings have surged beyond ₹209 crore, making it one of the highest-grossing Indian films released this year.

Industry observers believe the film could continue its strong theatrical run thanks to positive audience feedback and strong repeat viewership.

Among the Top Malayalam Hits of 2026

The latest milestone places Drishyam 3 among the biggest Malayalam films of 2026. The film currently occupies the second position on the list of highest-grossing Malayalam releases of the year.

Only Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros remains ahead, having collected over ₹235 crore worldwide during its theatrical run.

With several weeks still left in theatres, analysts are watching closely to see whether Drishyam 3 can narrow the gap and challenge for the top spot.

Chand Mera Dil Sees Modest Growth in Week Two

In other box office news, Lakshya and Ananya Panday’s romantic drama Chand Mera Dil has entered its second week in cinemas. The film added approximately ₹1.3 crore nett on Friday, taking its domestic total beyond ₹20 crore.

Directed by Vivek Soni, the romantic entertainer has earned ₹24.50 crore gross in India so far. Combined with its overseas earnings, the film’s worldwide gross collection has reached nearly ₹28 crore.

Although operating in a different genre and scale, Chand Mera Dil continues to maintain a steady run among audiences looking for a romantic big-screen experience.

Box Office Outlook

As the weekend progresses, all eyes will remain on Drishyam 3, which continues to dominate the box office and strengthen its position among the biggest Malayalam hits of the year. With strong audience support and positive word-of-mouth, the Mohanlal-led thriller is expected to remain a major force at cinemas in the coming days.
