OnePlus has officially launched the Nord 6 smartphone in the Indian market. The device, positioned in the mid-range segment, features a 9,000mAh battery, a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor.
The launch event took place on April 7, 2026. OnePlus stated that the Nord 6 is designed to deliver extended battery life, smooth performance and durable build quality at a competitive price point.
Battery and Charging
The Nord 6 is equipped with a 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which OnePlus claims provides more than two-and-a-half days of heavy usage and up to 26.9 hours of continuous YouTube playback. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging.
Display
The phone includes a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1272 × 2772) AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits. OnePlus has named the panel “Sunburst” and incorporated advanced eye-care features for use in low-light conditions.
Performance and Hardware
Powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, the Nord 6 is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The company says the device can maintain high frame rates in gaming titles such as BGMI for extended sessions without thermal throttling. Benchmark results shared by OnePlus indicate an AnTuTu score of over 2.5 million.
Camera Setup
The rear camera system consists of a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 main sensor with optical image stabilisation and an 8MP ultrawide lens. A 32MP autofocus camera is available on the front.
Build Quality and Software
The Nord 6 measures 8.5 mm in thickness and weighs between 210–217 grams. It carries MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification and an IP69K rating for water and dust resistance. The device ships with Android 16 and OnePlus’ OxygenOS 16, which includes AI-enhanced features.
Pricing and Availability
The smartphone will be available in Black, Mint Green and Silver colour variants. It goes on sale from April 9, 2026 at 12 PM IST via Amazon India, OnePlus.in and authorised offline stores.
