Samsung Unveils Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G: Mid-Range Marvels Packed with Galaxy AI and Premium Touches

Samsung officially launched the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G on March 25, 2026, bringing pro-level features, upgraded AI capabilities, and refined designs to its popular A-series lineup. The two smartphones, which will hit shelves starting April 9-10, 2026, blend everyday reliability with modern touches like enhanced Galaxy AI (branded as Awesome Intelligence), slim profiles, and robust cameras — all at competitive prices.

The launch event emphasized Samsung’s push to democratize AI across more devices. “The new Galaxy A series reflects our continued commitment to AI democratization by bringing the latest innovations to more Galaxy users,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Device eXperience at Samsung Electronics. Both phones ship with Android 16 and One UI 8.5 out of the box, promising up to six major OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

Sleek Design with IP68 Durability

The Galaxy A57 5G stands out with a noticeably slimmer and lighter build at just 6.9mm thick and 179g, featuring a premium aluminum frame sandwiched between Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front and back. It feels flagship-adjacent without the flagship price. The A37 5G is slightly thicker at 7.4mm and weighs 196g, opting for a more affordable plastic frame while retaining the same tough glass protection and IP68 dust/water resistance on both models.

Available in vibrant “Awesome” colorways — the A57 5G in Navy, Gray, Icyblue, and Lilac; the A37 5G in Charcoal, Lavender, Graygreen, and White — the duo features a triple-camera island and glossy finishes that turn heads.

Vibrant Displays and Smooth Performance

Both models sport 6.7-inch FHD+ (1080×2340) displays with 120Hz refresh rates and peak brightness up to 1,900 nits for excellent outdoor visibility. The A57 5G upgrades to a Super AMOLED+ panel with HDR10+ support, while the A37 5G uses a standard Super AMOLED — both protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+.

Under the hood, the A57 5G is powered by Samsung’s new Exynos 1680 chipset (4nm), paired with up to 12GB RAM and storage options up to 512GB. The A37 5G runs on the capable Exynos 1480 with 6-12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. A larger vapor chamber on the A57 5G helps maintain performance during gaming or extended use.

Camera Upgrades with AI Magic

Photography gets a boost with a 50MP main sensor (f/1.8, OIS, 1/1.56-inch) on both, delivering sharp low-light shots via Nightography. The A57 5G adds a 12MP ultrawide (123°), while the A37 5G gets an 8MP version; both include a 5MP macro lens. Up front is a 12MP selfie camera.

Galaxy AI shines here: Best Face for perfect group shots, Object Eraser, Edit Suggestions, and Auto Trim for videos. The A57 5G’s improved image signal processor enhances detail, color, and noise reduction even further.

All-Day Battery and Smart Features

A 5,000mAh battery powers both, supporting 45W fast charging (reaching ~60% in 30 minutes with the optional charger). Stereo speakers, under-display optical fingerprint sensors, and full 5G connectivity round out the package.

Awesome Intelligence features include Voice Transcription, AI Select for quick content creation, Circle to Search, and upgraded Bixby and Gemini integration — making daily tasks smarter and more intuitive.

Pricing and Availability

  • Galaxy A57 5G: Starts at $549.99 (8GB/128GB in the US); higher configs up to $609.99 or more in other markets. In India, base models begin around ₹58,999.
  • Galaxy A37 5G: Starts at $449.99 (6GB/128GB in the US); more affordable configs available.

Both will be available unlocked via Samsung.com and select retailers starting April 9 in the US (April 10 in many global markets, including India). Carrier options and additional colors vary by region.

Verdict: Strong Contenders in the Mid-Range

Samsung has delivered two compelling options that punch above their weight. The A57 5G appeals to those wanting premium design and extra performance, while the A37 5G offers outstanding value for budget-conscious buyers who still want flagship-like AI, cameras, and durability.

With the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G, Samsung continues to make “Awesome” experiences accessible to millions. Pre-orders and full availability details are now live on Samsung’s website and major retailers.
