In her conversation with News18, Sonam shared that Govinda was instrumental in teaching her how to dance. She described him as a loving and caring co-star who supported her whenever she struggled.Despite receiving scoldings from the dance master, Govinda would always defend her, reminding everyone that she was still young and learning.

She elaborated further, recounting an experience from their song ‘O Janam Meri Sonam,’ shot in Kashmir. During the shoot, Govinda held her hand and reassured her, telling her that he would teach her how to dance. This gesture highlighted his supportive and encouraging nature as a co-star.

In the same interview, Sonam called Naseeruddin Shah a ‘brilliant actor’, Rishi Kapoor, a ‘saint’, and Mithun Chakraborty a ‘superstar’. She also lauded Sanjay Dutt, describing him as one of the most jovial and down-to-earth actors, expressing her hope for his happiness.
