Border Security Force (BSF) will soon release the admit card for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for Head Constable Ministerial (HCM) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Steno recruitment. The admit card will be available on the official website bsf.gov.in. Candidates can download it using their registration number and date of birth.
Total Vacancies & Selection Process
This recruitment is being conducted for 1526 posts, including 243 posts for ASI Steno and 1283 posts for Head Constable Ministerial. Candidates who qualify in the PET and PST will proceed to the next stage, which is the written examination.
- The written test will be CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode.
- The exam will have multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Reasoning, General Knowledge, and Technical Skills.
- ASI Steno candidates will also have to appear for a typing test after the written exam.
- The exam will be conducted as per BSF guidelines.

Follow these steps to download your BSF PET-PST Admit Card:
- Visit BSF’s official website: bsf.gov.in
- Go to the Recruitment section on the home page.
- Click on the BSF HCM/ASI Steno Admit Card link.
- Enter your registration number and date of birth.
- Click Submit, and the admit card will appear on the screen.
- Check all details and download/print the admit card.
When Did BSF HCM, ASI Steno Recruitment Start?
- The application process started on 9 June 2024 and ended on 8 July 2024.
- The application fee was ₹147.25 for General, OBC, and EWS categories.
- SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates were exempted from the fee.
- The minimum educational qualification required was 12th pass.
