Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades have taken their relationship to the next level by officially registering their marriage in Goa. The couple completed the legal process at the Sub-Registrar’s Office in Mapusa, North Goa, on Friday, according to a PTI report.
The registration was carried out in the presence of a few close friends. Sub-Registrar Suraj Vernekar confirmed that the marriage was registered under the provisions of Goa’s Uniform Civil Code.
Couple Keeps Marriage Registration Private
Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades reportedly arrived at the registrar’s office around 4 pm. The couple opted for a simple and informal appearance, arriving in casual clothes rather than a traditional wedding outfit.
Gabriella, who is a South African national, has been in a long-term relationship with Arjun Rampal. The couple currently lives in Succoro village near Panaji.
Special Permission Allowed Early Registration
The marriage registration involved a special legal provision. According to Sub-Registrar Suraj Vernekar, the couple received permission from the Assistant Public Prosecutor of the local court to skip the usual 15-day interval between the first and second signatures required under the applicable procedure.
The official added that the couple’s marriage certificate will be issued after 15 days.
Their low-key registration comes after years of being together and raising their family away from the traditional spotlight associated with celebrity weddings.
Arjun Rampal’s Latest Film Appearance
On the work front, Arjun Rampal continues to be active in Bollywood. His latest appearance was in Satluj, a biographical drama directed by Honey Trehan and starring Diljit Dosanjh.
With their marriage now formally registered, Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades have entered a new chapter of their relationship while keeping the celebrations largely private.
