Asian Games 2026 Day 13: India Enjoys Golden Run as Athletes Win 10 Medals

Asian Games 2026: India produced a memorable performance on Day 13 of the competition, adding 10 medals to its overall tally, including six gold medals. Athletes from boxing, wrestling, archery and hockey delivered some of the biggest results of the day.

Following Friday’s action, India’s overall medal count reached 76 medals — 16 gold, 25 silver and 35 bronze.

India’s wrestling campaign received another boost through Sujeet Kalkal, who won the men’s 65kg gold medal.

Women’s Hockey Team Beats China

The Indian women’s hockey team also finished at the top of the podium after a tense final against China.

India registered a 1-0 victory to claim the gold medal. The result provided another major moment for Indian hockey and rounded off a highly successful day for the country.

Archers Secure Gold and Two Silver Medals

India’s women’s recurve archery team produced another standout performance by defeating South Korea to win gold.
