India’s domestic cricket season has kicked off with the Duleep Trophy. On the first day, India-A and India-B teams faced off. India-B didn’t have a good start as their batsmen kept losing wickets at regular intervals. By the time they reached 94 runs, 7 of their players were back in the pavilion. But after that, Musheer Khan and Navdeep Saini took charge. So far, they have built a partnership of 103 runs.
Musheer Khan Scores a Century in Tough Conditions
At this point, Musheer Khan is playing on 105 runs from 220 balls, while Navdeep Saini has scored 25 runs off 68 balls. Musheer has hit 10 fours and 2 sixes, while Saini has hit 3 fours and 1 six. India-B’s score stands at 198 for 7 wickets. With series against Bangladesh and Australia coming up, Musheer has strengthened his case for selection by scoring this century. Musheer’s brother, Sarfaraz Khan, has already made his Test debut for India.

Highlights of the India-A vs. India-B Match
In the match between India-A and India-B, both teams are playing at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. India-A captain Shubman Gill won the toss and chose to bowl first. India-B lost their first wicket at 33 runs when Abhimanyu Easwaran got out after scoring 13 runs off 42 balls. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 30 runs from 59 balls. Sarfaraz Khan could only contribute 9 runs, while Rishabh Pant managed just 7 runs. Other batsmen like Nitish Reddy, Washington Sundar, and Sai Kishore also failed to make an impact.
