After the announcement of Haryana Assembly elections, the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) has faced a series of setbacks. Recently, four party MLAs had already left the JJP. On Thursday, the party received another blow as MLA Ramniwas Surjakhheda resigned, pushing the JJP further into difficulty.
Ramniwas Surjakhheda is the fifth MLA to leave JJP. Before him, Anoop Dhanak, Ishwar Singh, Devender Babli, and Ramkaran Kala had already quit the party. JJP had previously filed a petition with the Speaker to cancel Surjakhheda’s membership, alleging that he had campaigned for BJP during the Lok Sabha elections.
