Time Magazine has released its 2025 list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. This famous list includes names from politics, science, art, and social work. The list was made public on 17 April and is divided into different categories like ‘Leaders’, ‘Icons’, and ‘Titans’.

Donald Trump and Muhammad Yunus Find a Place

This year, US President Donald Trump and Bangladesh’s interim government head Muhammad Yunus have been included in the list. However, it’s surprising that no Indian personality has been selected in this year’s edition.

Who Else Made It to the List?

In the ‘Leaders’ category, well-known names like UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and US Vice President JD Vance have been listed. Though no Indian made it, one person of Indian origin — Reshma Kewalramani — secured a spot in this group. Reshma is the CEO of Vertex Pharmaceuticals, making her the first woman to lead a major American biotechnology company.

Alia Bhatt and Sakshi Malik Were in Last Year’s List

In the 2024 list, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt and Olympic wrestler Sakshi Malik were included. The 2025 list has been posted online and also appears in the latest issue of Time Magazine.

Other Famous Names in This Year’s List

Several international celebrities have also been featured this year, including Serena Williams, Snoop Dogg, Elon Musk, Greta Gerwig, Ed Sheeran, and Yulia Navalnaya (wife of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny). Time’s Top 100 list is now in its 21st year and is considered one of the world’s most respected and powerful lists.

Reshma Kewalramani Represents Indian-Origin Leadership

Even though no Indian citizen is on the list this time, Indian-origin Reshma Kewalramani has earned a place among the world’s influential leaders. Reshma moved to the US when she was 11 years old and now leads Vertex Pharmaceuticals, one of the leading biotech companies in America.
