With elections happening in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, and political tension rising in Uttar Pradesh, various leaders have been reacting to the situation. Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai has launched a verbal attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In an interview with ABP News, Ajay Rai discussed the Haryana elections and said that the people have made up their minds. He stated that voters are focusing on issues like inflation, unemployment, and the Agnipath scheme.
Criticizing the BJP, Ajay Rai said, “The people of Haryana are thinking about how the daughters and farmers were disrespected. They will not accept this, and now it’s time to remove the BJP from power.”
‘BSP Chief Should Retire’
When asked about the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) contesting the elections, Ajay Rai made a sarcastic remark. He said, “There have been many issues in Uttar Pradesh where the BSP chief should have spoken up, but she remained silent.” He added, “The BSP chief only speaks as a spokesperson for the BJP. She should retire from politics.”

Responding to former Amethi MP Smriti Irani’s statements, Ajay Rai said, “The Congress leadership will decide who becomes the Chief Minister. But first, Smriti Irani should answer the people of Amethi.” He continued, “Smriti Irani made many promises, none of which have been fulfilled. Why did she leave after losing?”
Targeting Sangeet Som
Ajay Rai also sharply criticized BJP leader Sangeet Som for his remarks about the caste of gods. Rai said, “Such leaders are mentally bankrupt. This shows mental instability.” He added, “God is for everyone, and he comes when injustice increases. Their injustice has reached its peak.”
Regarding the By-Elections
On the upcoming by-elections in Uttar Pradesh, Ajay Rai expressed confidence. He said, “We are fully prepared for the by-elections. With the support of the INDIA alliance, we will win all 10 seats in Uttar Pradesh.”
